Attendance:

The meeting focused on agent training strategies, performance tracking, and upcoming scheduling changes for the team.

Training Updates

Wilbur announced that starting in November, he will implement "office hours" within the Mac room. During these specific times, agents can observe him conducting live appointments and calling to improve their skills. Wilbur emphasized that observing high-performing agents is the most effective way for new members to learn how to handle rebuttals and manage conversations.

Anisa shared her recent experiences learning to navigate client objections regarding information requests and mortgage discussions. Wilbur noted that while some clients may be forgetful or difficult, mastering these interactions is a key part of the professional development process.

Performance Tracking

Wilbur advised the team on the importance of "knowing your numbers" to ensure growth. He recommended using an activity tracker to monitor specific metrics:

  • Dials

  • Contacts

  • Appointments

He suggested that agents use the Summit Training activity tracker, which can be used either digitally or via a physical printout with manual checkmarks. This data-driven approach is intended to help agents understand their conversion rates and maintain accountability.

Team Coordination

Wilbur discussed the value of the daily accountability calls held Monday through Friday. He explained that these sessions serve as a "work huddle" where agents can learn from the mindsets of successful peers and build professional connections. While Anisa has a complex schedule, Wilbur encouraged her to participate as much as possible without burning out.

Regarding onboarding, Tim was reminded to provide updates once his licensing status or testing date is confirmed so the team can coordinate accordingly. Wilbur also noted that the current meeting had a lower attendance than the usual 10 to 15 people due to various travel and external training commitments.

Questions regarding Tim's licensing timeline remain open.
