The team discussed individual performance wins, lead conversion data, and upcoming agency events.
Weekly Wins
Rodion shared his success in hyper-focusing on financial tracking to improve profitability. Rafael reported bringing on a new recruit and expressed a commitment to increasing contract levels through better organization. Wilbur noted his current weekly production of approximately $4,900, which includes business from new leads, existing clients, and referrals.
Lead Data
Wilbur presented data regarding different lead types to manage expectations for new agents. Lead Types and Conversion
Mail-in leads are the most expensive but have the highest intent.
Call-in (CIA) leads are a middle-ground option for building a pipeline.
Conversion rates vary; for example, C-level leads might result in one application per 20 leads.
Strategic Approach
New agents should focus on mastering lower-level leads to learn scripting before moving to higher-intent leads.
The goal is to reach the CBA range quickly to spend less time prospecting and more time serving clients.
Agents should aim for consistent weekly production (e.g., $5,000 weeks) to organically increase commission percentages and move toward producer bonuses.
Agency Updates
Wilbur announced several upcoming opportunities and training sessions for the team. Training and Events
Office Hours: Wilbur will be live dialing in the Mac Room three days a week to assist agents with questions and appointments.
Ignite: An event scheduled for March; agents are encouraged to secure tickets early to demonstrate commitment.
Spring Fling: A leadership retreat in Asheville for those who qualify as Key Leader by issuing $20,000 and recruiting three additional writers between now and February.
How can new agents best balance their initial lead investment with the necessary activity levels to avoid burnout?
